The main objective of this project was to create a distinctive logotype for the alternative rock band Temblores, capturing their bold and raw energy. The design is edgy and gritty, it reflects their dynamic sound with a subtle grunge twist and clear urban vibes: shaped by the seismic energy of San Juan and composed in the restless city rhythm of Buenos Aires.

To express the essence of street culture, one of the main goals was to capture the spirit of the 2000s and the ever-changing rhythm of city life. Therefore, the glyphs were designed from scratch, imperfect and dynamic, featuring variable widths, heavy weight, broken stems, a sturdy structure, and a slight inverted contrast. The orange and teal color palette is inspired by the tones of distorted lomography film, adding a grainy, nostalgic feel.

Raw and gritty, channels the emblematic spirit of Argentine rock culture accross decades, its defiant energy, underground pulse, and unfiltered emotion, as well as the influence of Nuevo Cine Argentino, a more realistic, intimate, and close-to-life style of filmmaking. Deeply nostalgic and undeniably urban, Temblores is inspired by the streets, capturing everyday stories, sensations, and shaping vivid landscapes through sound.
