¡Hola! I'm Julia Martinez Diana, an independent designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, focusing on graphic and typography design. I'm a Graphic Design graduate from the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires.
In 2014 I started the design studio Antipixel Type Studio to focus on display typography. This quickly led to a collection of energetic typefaces full of spirited quality and a charismatic personal touch. Paying special attention to detail, I take care of the whole process of my reatil fonts, design, production, and promotion.
The font Cumbre was awarded the 'Certificate of Typographic Excellence' by the Type Directors Club's 69th Competition in 2023, and I was selected as an Ascenders by the TDC for typographic creatives on the rise. In 2024, the font family Cumbre earned the prestigious Gold Award 'Rayo de Oro' at the Latin American Design Awards. My fonts have been published in numerous books and magazines in the field of graphic and type design. In 2023, I contributed as a teaching assistant for the Master in Typeface Design program at the University of Buenos Aires, actively participating in the Lecture of Design from April to July of that same year.
